[Every single person with access to the network hears a noise from their PSS. It sounds like... static getting increasingly louder. Doesn't matter where they are, even in the Graveyard Dimension, the static noise is the same. Eventually, it gets pretty loud and then starts to die down. A strange yet creepy voice follows the static.]

Good evening, heh heh heh. I see some of you have decided to explore this little dimension that I inhabit... well, I hope you enjoy it.

The land of the dead is not meant for the living to trespass upon. I shall soon see to it that you're all wearing the... proper attire... for the occasion, however. Everyone has a time where they must shed their living shells, but if you so wish, I will grant you that privilege early!

Be seeing you... heh heh heh...

[And the static cuts out. It's leaving an option to be responded to, however. Dare to brave a response?]

The static comes back, and so does the voice.

"I am most serious. Don't worry, you will soon see for yourself. Is it so surprising to you when portals to other dimensions can appear in your world? Heh heh..."

"I'm from a parallel timeline to this one by way of a multidimensional nexus point; there's basically nothing related to interdimensional travel that can actually surprise me at this point. You, on the other hand..."

Kotoha makes a small noise of suppressed amusement.

"Well, frankly, I get you're trying to be creepy, but honestly it's so overdone you've crossed the line to amusing. You're talking like a Saturday morning cartoon villain - all that's missing is bad death puns."

"...You're just going to keep mocking me, aren't you."

A static-y sigh.

"Very well. Though this is not in any way an act, I suppose I'll have to withhold any death puns." The voice almost sounds disappointed about that. "What I have said is true, however. I inhabit this dimension, and it is the Land of the Dead, or at least some form of it. Something you mortals describe as a graveyard without the dead coming back to life. However, I will not allow you mortals to desecrate this place so. If you truly wish to remain in this dimension any further, you will accept a challenge. A duel of sorts."

"I'm not trying to mock you, and I'm sorry if it sounded like that. It's just..."

Pause.

"Well, honestly? I'm kind of jaded nowadays. You ever heard of a dark god called Nyarlothothep?"

"Never heard of that god before. My challenge stands, however. Whomever wishes to answer to the challenge may find me within the dimension in a few days' time."
