Hey everyone! I just got the Bug Badge! [He shows it off.] It was a pretty tough fight [he wasn't expecting Viola to start out with a water/bug 'mon] but my new friends all did their best! I guess this is what it feels like to be a Pokemon Trainer, huh?

[In the background, a Vulpix and Fletchling call out happily.]

If any of you are looking to get the Bug Badge, be warned - it's not as easy as tossing a fire type out! Be prepared with at least a few Pokemon. It's not a really hard fight, but it's still a bit challenging.

Anyway, looks like we'll be staying in Santalune for a little bit, but it'll be time to go to Luminose before we know it!

[Guess who's also got his bug badge? Granted Sonic also had some trouble, but that was more due to him being a greenhorn than having a strategy being derailed. His Pidgey, Honedge and newly acquired Litleo is close by as well.

Seven. There's eight gyms in each region, with an Elite Four and Champion after you get all the badges.
