[The video starts up with Sonic and his Pidgey Sur'ah, who's pecking him on his arm with her beak, which is causing Sonic some pain if his expression says anything.]

Say, does anyone have any advice on how to make her stop?

Ow. Stop it, Sur'ah!

[He tries shooing her away from his arm, but Sur'ah seems to be cheerfully ignoring him.]

Seriously, it's getting out of hand.

Ow.

And nothing seems to be working. Not even punishment by pokeball works.

[Sonic doesn't like keeping his pokemon in their pokeballs as Sonic's Honedge and Litleo can be seen not too far away.]

Any help would be nice.

OW! Knock it off already.

[Yeah unless someone can assist him, looks like this will be going on for a while.]

[Fluttershy can't help but watch a little as he makes the post.]

I, um...can try talking to her...if you'd like...

[And Pidgey's still going at it.]

Sure, go ahead.

[From his travels with the group, he knows about Fluttershy's abilities with talking to Pokemon by now so he doesn't question it.

He couldn't anyway since he was out of options.]

Piiiddgeeey~!

[Placing Vivi down on the ground, she lets the Scatterbug hide behind Cloe the Frillish as she approaches Sonic and his Pidgey.]

Sur'ah...

[Her voice is still gentle to be sure, but there is a firmness behind it, a familiar warning tone she's given her own Pokemon when they were misbehaving.]

[Although Sur'ah recognized that firmness, she doesn't seem too worried about that, though she does at least stop finally.

Sonic steps aside to let them talk while Sonic's other pokemon continue to watch.]

(Yeess?)

Now, Sur'ah...you must know that pecking Sonic isn't very nice. Especially because your beak is so sharp...it does make him a bit uncomfortable...

[Sur'ah tilts her head slightly in confusion.]

(But kisses are good, aren't they? I just want to show him how muuch I love him!)

[And she pecks Sonic again, much to his annoyance. It's even starting to injure Sonic a bit.

Sonic's Litleo (named Blaze), starts, which appears to be laughing, but those who don't speak pokemon wouldn't be able to tell. Sonic's Honedge (named Caliburn) just floats in the air. If he had a head, he would be shaking his head at Sur'ah right now.]

[Oh dear.]

O-Oh...I see...um...that's very sweet, Sur'ah...but...I don't he realizes that's what you're doing. It just seems like you're pecking him.

Doing what exactly?

['Cause he seriously liked to know. Sur'ah tilts her head to the other side now.]

(Huh? Isn't it obvious?)

[She hesitates for a moment, not entirely sure how much she should actually tell Sonic.]

U-Um...sh-she's...doing it as a sign of affection.

[Looking at Sur'ah, she shakes her head a little.]

No, it's not...

Affecti-?

[And then it hits Sonic quickly and he nearly falls over.]

Oh come on!

[Sur'ah seems happy now that Sonic knows and tries to do a softer peck, which doesn't change Sonic's reaction other than it not hurting this time.]

Just my luck.

Sh-She, um...cares a lot about you...

[Understatement.]

Clearly.

[At least she's slowed down on the pecking and isn't as harsh, but if she doesn't stop soon, he might draw blood.]

So now what? Any advice you got for me?

Y-You, um...might have to talk to her about... [She made a vague gesture to Sur'ah still pecking his arm.] That.

Easier said than done. She won't listen to me.

[And one more peck causes Sur'ah to dig into Sonic's arm and finally draws blood (which is surprisingly easy to see despite his arms being stick-like).

Sur'ah finally notices this and stops for good, looking at Sonic with worry. It seems she finally realized that she's hurting Sonic with that.]

[Fluttershy sighed softly, reaching into her bag and pulling out a roll of bandages.]

I told you your beak is sharp, Sur'ah...

[Well at least someone's prepared. Mostly Sonic's annoyed than anything. Sonic waves a gloved hand. He didn't like getting bandaged up 'cause it made him feel like he was being babied.]

Naw it's okay. It's not that bad.

[Sur'ah lowers her head in shame.]

(Sorry.)

[Fluttershy frowns; she'd better if it was at least wrapped up a bit. But she puts the bandages away at any rate, instead pulling out an alcohol swab and handing it to him.]

Here...we should at least keep it clean.

[Glancing at Sur'ah, she smiles a little.]

Sur'ah says she's sorry...

[Although he's not a doctor, he does know what Fluttershy is giving him, so he accepts it. He tries not to wince once he applies the alcohol swab on the wound.]

You're forgiven. Now no more of those pecks.

(Awww...)

[Sonic sighs. Although he can't understand her, he can tell what she's sad about it.]

Ookay, fine. You can do that. Just not so hard and don't go overboard on it. Deal?

Light pecks once in a while are all right. Just...maybe not so many in the same spot...

[Sur'ah nods.]

Good. Glad that's settled with.

[He's starting to think he should have named her Amy instead. While the pecks will be annoying, it at least won't hurt and be as often.]

"...hm. I'm...not sure why a Pidgey would be doing this, actually..."

Thoughtful Trainer is thinking.

"Do you know anyone with a Psychic-type?"

Not really. I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything to make her angry.

[Sure Sur'ah doesn't seem angry, quite the opposite, but he couldn't figure out why or how to stop her.]

"Well, the Pidgey family can't even learn Peck, so whatever this is, it's not an attack."

Kotoha has never seen this kind of behavior before.

I dunno if that's better or worse.

[And more pecking.]

Ow! Stop. It.

"Hm. Well, I've raised Pidgeys before, and all I can say is that this isn't normal behavior for the species as a whole. So...it's probably just something this one does."

Slight pause.

"Also, uh...do you mind if I ask a question?"

Sure go ahead.

[He attempts to shoo her away again, but obviously that doesn't work.]

"Do you know someone named Shadow?"

Yeah one. Shadow the Hedgehog. Why you ask?

[Could she know the same Shadow he's thinking of?

...Actually the mental image of Shadow being a pokemon trainer was rather amusing to him. He could just see him all grumpy like with a bunch of grumpy looking pokemon.]

"Oh, you do know him! He was in the last world I went to, Hinoto-Ri. He was an interesting sort of person."

If by interesting you mean grumpy, that sounds about right.

[He never heard of Hinoto-Ri, but it sounded interesting to visit if he could.]

"He, uh...called himself the Ultimate Being and seemed to think the weird robot doubles of his that showed up during the 13th Hour were created by Dr. Eggman."

The ultimate life-form.

[Sonic shrugs. He doesn't recall running into fake Shadow robots, but then again, it was years ago and he was mostly focusing on the Black Arms at the time.]

That wouldn't surprise me if Eggman had made fake Shadow robots. He's made fake robots of me before.

[He makes a grin and points to himself with a thumb.]

Most of them got trashed by yours truly. It's what I do.

...huh.

"Non-sapient robots, right?"

Uhh.... yeah, I think so.

[And more pecking.]
