A new dimensional portal's opened up... and someone needs to investigate it. Well, I say we get a team together and explore it. I'm definitely going, and if any of you want to come, I'd really appreciate the company. [He'll probably have to ask his traveling group separately, but he knows it goes without saying that Sonic will come with him. He thought he overheard Nephenee saying something about hoping it might lead home, too.]

There's no telling what's behind that portal, but I'm willing to take the risk. The more of us there are, the better our chances will be if there's any real danger beyond it. So, who's with me?

It could definitely be a trap, but I don't think he'd have control over dimensional portals without something strong enough to manipulate them.

Either way, it could still be a trap, even if it isn't Eggman's trap.

How do we know this portal even exists? Wouldn't put it past him to lie about it.

[Sonic is still having a hard time believing Eggman. He's faked having turned over a new leaf once as well as having tricked them before in the past. He is still waiting for the moment Eggman finally betrays them all.]

There's really not much to do outside the portal. If you want, you could stick by me while we investigate. I won't let anything happen if there's any danger.

Really the only way one can tell it's even a camera, is the general shape and the big-ass lens in front. He peers through said lens in a couple directions before addressing the holovid camera.]
