[It's nighttime in the dimensional portal that opened recently, and everything seems...huh? That sure was a Flabébé activating someone's holo-caster by accidentally knocking into it. The orange-flower fairy looks at the device curiously, not realizing it's been switched on to record, before a voice (well, the one nearby that isn't clearly disembodied) gets her attention.]

Marigold? What..is it?

[To some, that may seem like a familiar, country-accented voice. But the normally warm, sweet voice is marred with weariness, like its bearer wishes to be anywhere but here. And true be told, she does. Marigold flies off-screen, to her trainer, just beyond the visual range of the device, chirping.]

Yeah..it's pretty dark here, so Ah guess it's easy to run into things...

...Ah'll be alright...maybe. Ah jus'...[Nephenee sighs heavily, a slight equine sound to it.] Ah got real excited, thinkin' it..might be a portal back to Equestria...an' Ah an' Miss Fluttershy an' y'all could all go there, be back where we have our families and friends...

Bé, Flabébé...

..Yeah, Ah miss everypony...even if it was kinda crazy there sometimes...Ah miss that world, too. It's...it's the only home Ah got left...

[There's silence but for those creepy voices from the ghost types about, and the occasional chirp from Marigold or the yip of a dreaming Daisy, for awhile...when it breaks, what's heard is a voice filled with longing, singing quietly.]

[The fox seems to be in thought. Contemplating something. Pacing a little bit. Finally, he faces the camera.]

A new dimensional portal's opened up... and someone needs to investigate it. Well, I say we get a team together and explore it. I'm definitely going, and if any of you want to come, I'd really appreciate the company. [He'll probably have to ask his traveling group separately, but he knows it goes without saying that Sonic will come with him. He thought he overheard Nephenee saying something about hoping it might lead home, too.]

There's no telling what's behind that portal, but I'm willing to take the risk. The more of us there are, the better our chances will be if there's any real danger beyond it. So, who's with me?

[Guess who finally figured out how Holocasters work! There's an image of a yellow and fire colored pony peering into the device before she finally speaks, clearing her throat and adjusting part of the hide tight flight suit.]

Anyone mind telling me what in the hay is going on here? I was just about to go check out the new recruits and I end up in some weird land with strange two-legged creatures and there's some ball on me that ends up in these things. [She moves the device, changing it to show a Ponyta and Torchic looking on curiously.]

And I haven't a clue what's going on here.

[Every single person with access to the network hears a noise from their PSS. It sounds like... static getting increasingly louder. Doesn't matter where they are, even in the Graveyard Dimension, the static noise is the same. Eventually, it gets pretty loud and then starts to die down. A strange yet creepy voice follows the static.]

Good evening, heh heh heh. I see some of you have decided to explore this little dimension that I inhabit... well, I hope you enjoy it.

The land of the dead is not meant for the living to trespass upon. I shall soon see to it that you're all wearing the... proper attire... for the occasion, however. Everyone has a time where they must shed their living shells, but if you so wish, I will grant you that privilege early!
